Between limestone plateaus, deep valleys, and the sunlit meanders of the Célé valley, the landscape gradually unfolds with each stride and rolling contour. The route follows the beginning of Circuit 2, then offers an extension starting from Monteils. You cross the plain to reach the banks of the Célé along a playful singletrack trail. Arriving near Sauliac-sur-Célé, you head up a climb that leads to the second viewpoint of the circuit—an ideal spot for a mid-route pause to take in the scenery. You then descend toward the Combe Nègre along a long, steady downhill, where the atmosphere becomes increasingly wild. The contrast between the open heights of the causse and the more intimate valley floor gives the route its full depth. Finally, you cross the plain again with its more pastoral scenery before rejoining the end of Circuit 2 on the opposite bank and returning to the starting point.
