From the perched village of Calvignac, descend into the valley and cross the Lot River to reach the village of Larnagol. Here, you connect with other routes and head toward Cajarc along beautiful, technical, and rocky balcony trails. The panoramas over the river and cliffs are spectacular. After an overhanging section with views of the medieval village, you skirt around La Plogne before descending into the heart of Cajarc and its narrow streets. The loop then passes through Andressac and Gaillac before returning to open nature. The return to the starting point follows more runnable tracks through farmland and woodland. It is highly recommended to stop for a few minutes at the Calvignac viewpoint, just a few meters before the parking area, to admire the view from the top of the cliff and conclude this long outing on a beautiful scenic note!
